Kendrick Recruitment is searching for a dynamic Sales & Marketing Consultant to take a luxury safari lodge’s name to new heights – locally, across the SADC region, and globally! If you’ve got a flair for turning wanderlust into bookings, a passion for nature, and a killer network in the luxury travel space… we want YOU.
🎯 What You’ll Be Doing (a.k.a. Making Magic Happen):
🧭 Sales & Biz Dev:
Drive global bookings through killer relationships with DMCs, tour operators, and travel agents
Educate the travel trade on the lodge’s epic offerings
Negotiate rates and craft irresistible packages
Track industry trends and adapt like a pro
Attend major travel shows (Indaba, We Are Africa, ITB, WTM – you’ll be everywhere!)
💻 Marketing & Digital Domination:
Execute next-level digital marketing campaigns
Keep our presence polished on OTAs (think TripAdvisor, SafariBookings, etc.)
Roll out eye-catching marketing material (brochures, videos, rate sheets, the works)
Launch Google Ads & social media promos that convert clicks to bookings
Craft a brand message that tells our story with soul
📢 Industry Engagement:
Host online webinars & sales trainings for agents
Collaborate with safari lodges to build magnetic package deals
Stay ahead of the pack with fresh strategies and pricing magic
🎓 Who You Are:
5+ years in luxury safari or travel sales & marketing
Degree/Diploma in Marketing, Tourism, or Business? Big plus
Pro at using ResRequest, CRM tools, and digital marketing platforms
A rolodex full of contacts in Southern Africa & Europe
A born communicator, negotiator, and relationship builder
Self-motivated, able to juggle multiple projects, and ready to travel when needed
Passionate about conservation and eco-tourism – you care as much as you sell
