Senior Sales Consultant – Luxury Travel Company – Remote

Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Consultant for a luxury travel company based remotely in South Africa. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be responsible for end-to-end selling, consultation, and booking of all products, adhering to the company’s standards and operational policies.

Location: Remote, South Africa
Salary: R25,000 – R30,000 per month

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct end-to-end sales processes, including product development, itinerary building, and customer service.
• Serve as the primary contact point for clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
• Possess strong destination knowledge of South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe & Zambia, with additional knowledge of East Africa, Namibia, Mozambique & Malawi being advantageous.
• Manage major accounts and execute all stages of the booking life cycle.
• Work effectively in a remote virtual office environment, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Sales Consultant in the luxury travel market.
• Strong destination knowledge of South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe & Zambia.
• Experience with reservation system software such as Travel Studio and Wetu.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and handling major accounts.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
• Ability to work independently and in a team remotely.

• Highly customer/client focused with complaint handling ability.
• Ability to work under pressure and juggle multiple tasks effectively.
• Competent in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel.
• Experience in mentoring and coaching junior staff.

Position Requirements:

• Must provide own reliable internet connection and electricity supply for remote work.
• Available to work standard hours Monday to Friday, with additional responsibilities for emergency calls and weekend shifts.
• Friendly, flexible, and possesses a sense of humor.
