Reservationist Wanted for a Luxury Safari Lodge in the Pilanesberg Area
Kendrick Recruitment is searching for a sharp, service-driven Reservationist for one of our top-tier clients in the Pilanesberg region. Love the bush but prefer your slippers to hiking boots during the week? This is your dream gig – remote-based, full-time, and packed with perks!
💸 Salary: R15,000 + Commission
📍 Location: Work-from-Home (preferably Johannesburg, but not essential)
🖥️ Hours: Monday–Friday, 08h00–17h00 + weekend standby every second weekend
🐘 What You’ll Be Doing:
* Handling all reservations and enquiries like a pro (email, phone, WhatsApp)
* Managing bookings, following up on payments, and capturing details with eagle-eyed accuracy
* Being the go-to person when the Reservations Manager is off – you’ll step up, and shine
* Liaising with guests, agents, and the lodge team daily to ensure seamless, luxury-level experiences
* Performing regular recon and reporting tasks – numbers, names, dates – you’ll keep it all tight
* Keeping calm and connected – literally. A stable internet connection is a must!
🛠️ What You’ll Need:
* Experience with Nightsbridge and similar booking systems is essential
* Previous reservations experience in the safari/lodge industry
* Tech-savvy and comfortable with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and OTA platforms
* Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) – English is essential, Afrikaans a bonus
* Laser-sharp attention to detail, loads of initiative, and the ability to work independently
* A professional yet friendly phone and email manner – you’re the guest’s first impression!
* Own stable internet connection and good Vodacom cell reception
* Backup power is a plus, but not a dealbreaker – just have a solid plan during load shedding
* Positive energy, passion for hospitality, and a proactive attitude!
