a reputable 4* Hotel in Newcastle, KZN and are on the hunt for a skilled General Manager to oversee
our hotel operations. This role demands a motivated and experienced leader with a strong
background in managing large teams and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
The ideal candidate must have knowledge of Micros and Opera systems, expertise in food and
beverage costing, and the ability to manage service providers and supplier liaisons. You should be
comfortable working under pressure, including weekends and public holidays, to ensure the smooth
running of the hotel.
As the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of 50 – 70 staff, and report
directly to the Directors. This position offers a competitive salary package in the range of 40 to 50k,
depending on experience.
Requirements:
– Proven experience as a General Manager at a reputable 4-star hotel.
– Extensive knowledge of Micros and Opera Cloud systems.
– Strong food and beverage costing knowledge.
– Experience in managing a large team of 50-70 staff.
