Kendrick Recruitment has a stunning new vacancy for young passionate couple to be part of an established intimate lodge based in the Madikwe Game Reserve. We are looking for a couple with an outgoing personality who can seamlessly fit into a Field Guide/Assistant Lodge Manager role within the lodge and current team.
Ideally, we’d like one half of the couple to come from a guiding background; they will need to be FGASA accredited but Full Trails is not a must.
All relevant qualifications for the North West province will include;
THETA
DEAT
PDP driver license
First aid
ARH (advance rifle handling)
3 years Big Five game drive experience
Computer skills
Maintenance experience – an advantage
The other half of the couple will be required to oversee the day to day operations of the property with a focus ideally on F&B and administration, some of the duties for this role will include:
Experience in Office admin
Experience in Front of house duties – check in guests, hosting at meal times, handling requests and complaints of guests, etc
Solid understanding of F&B
Other duties like room checks before guest arrival, staff training where needed, curio sales, etc
3 – 5 years’ experience in hospitality industry
Package includes:
Salary – R20,000 – R30,000 combined based on experience
