The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience and will lead the butler team to ensure the highest level of service is maintained throughout the lodge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the overall guest service experience, ensuring high standards are maintained at all times.
- Provide full-service functionality to guests, ensuring you’re present at all meal times until guests are satisfied.
- Manage all service-related stock consumption and stock takes, including cutlery, crockery, and other service items.
- Engage with guests to gather personal preferences and tailor their experience.
- Provide valuable feedback to management regarding guest satisfaction and any issues that arise.
- Maintain excellent communication with both guests and colleagues, ensuring a smooth service flow.
- Lead, train, and support the butler team to ensure the highest standards of service.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Head Butler in a 4 or 5-star environment (essential).
- Strong understanding of 5-star service standards and luxury hospitality.
- Excellent knowledge of food and beverage service, wine, and cocktails.
- Understanding of dietary requirements/preferences and ability to tailor service accordingly.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a passion for guest interaction.
