Financial Manager – High end Hotel – Rustenburg

Position: Finance Manager

Location: High-End Hotel, Rustenburg, North West

Salary: R49,000 per month

We are seeking a dynamic Finance Manager to join a team at a prestigious high-end hotel in Rustenburg, North West. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in financial management and strategic planning for our growing hospitality operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Forecast and budget business for upcoming months and years.
• Assist department heads by reviewing and monitoring expenditure across departments.
• Process monthly financial statements and report findings to the General Manager and Director of Finance.
• Verify payroll transactions before finalization and processing.
• Manage creditors, ensuring timely payments and taking advantage of settlement discounts and applicable rebates.
• Oversee debtor collections and assist with problem-solving as needed.
• Review and authorize all supplier payments in line with cash flow availability.

Minimum Requirements:

• B. Com Accounting degree is advantageous.
• At least 3 years of experience in the hospitality industry at a senior management level in a similar role.
• Strong orientation towards standards and excellent knowledge of hotel, lodge, or resort financial operations.
• High level of customer service, leadership skills, numeracy, and cost control abilities.
• Exceptional communication skills in English are preferred.
• High degree of self-motivation, ambition, and attention to detail.
