Salary: Up To R44,000 CTC
Kendrick Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our esteemed client, a newly refurbished 5-star hotel that is part of a prestigious international group based in Durban. We are seeking a seasoned F&B Manager to lead the food and beverage operations and join this world-class team.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the entire food and beverage operation, ensuring the highest standards of service and quality.
Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance guest satisfaction and profitability.
Manage, train, and inspire a diverse team of F&B professionals.
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Collaborate with the executive chef and kitchen team to create innovative menus and dining experiences.
Monitor and control inventory, budgets, and financial performance.
Ensure smooth daily operations, from banquets and events to room service and fine dining.
Foster strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favourable contracts.
Drive marketing and promotional activities to maximise revenue.
Continuously seek ways to improve service and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an F&B Manager in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
In-depth knowledge of F&B operations, including cost control and inventory management.
Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
Proficiency in F&B management software and MS Office.
Relevant hospitality or culinary degree is preferred.
