Kendrick Recruitment is looking for a detail-oriented & analytical Cost Accountant to join a dynamic business based in the Winelands. If you have a strong background in cost & management accounting and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you!
📌 Minimum Requirements:
📅 2–3 years’ experience in cost & management accounting (analysis & reporting)
🎓 BCom degree or equivalent (progress towards CIMA qualification advantageous)
🖥️ Proficient in Microsoft Excel & ERP systems (BOM & business intelligence software beneficial)
🏭 FMCG or production environment experience preferred
📢 Strong communication & collaboration skills across teams & departments
⏳ Excellent time management with the ability to handle multiple tasks
✔ Meticulous work ethic with a high level of accuracy
🗣️ Fluent in Afrikaans & English
🎯 Key Responsibilities:
📊 Manage product costing & inventory reporting – analyse variances & actual costs vs estimates
💰 Prepare cost estimates & quotes for new products, customers & product changes
🔄 Update BOMs as required
📦 Assist with stock counts & inventory management
📑 Load cost estimates/quotes into relevant systems
📆 Assist with reconciliations & schedules
📂 Maintain accurate product costing records (old & new products)
📝 Provide audit support & continuous reporting
