About the Role:
As a Chef at the luxury lodge, you will be responsible for maintaining high kitchen hygiene standards and implementing kitchen standards. You will train chefs, ensure the correct chemicals and cleaning materials are stocked, and ensure presentations are according to the Styling Guide. Creativity is key as you will be responsible for creative bush banqueting and maintaining proactive maintenance in the kitchen. Good communication skills are essential as you will interact with chefs, camp managers, HODs, Lodge Managers, and suppliers. You will also be responsible for food orders, stock controls, administration, and interacting with guests and other chefs. The Chef will promote good teamwork, adhere to world-class hospitality standards, and ensure guests’ special dietary needs are met.
Key Outputs:
Maintain kitchen hygiene standards
Train chefs and implement kitchen standards
