Kendrick Recruitment is delighted to present an outstanding opportunity for a Quality Control Manager based in Tanzania. This role, situated between the properties and Arusha, offers a unique chance to be part of a leading hospitality company in the region.

Role Overview:
As the Quality Control Manager, you will oversee product and service development procedures, ensuring they meet the highest quality and efficiency standards. This pivotal role requires exceptional leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to align services with the company’s hospitality standards and brand values.

Key Responsibilities:
Quality Oversight: Supervise quality assurance functions, ensuring adherence to schedules and collection of quality records.
Product Development: Collaborate with the Hospitality Manager to develop and maintain company standards across all properties.
Training: Train staff on company policies, standards, and service quality to maintain consistency.
Continuous Improvement: Constantly improve lodge and camp services to meet exceptional standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to maintain brand values.
Budget Management: Oversee budgets and expenditures related to quality assurance initiatives.
Emergency Protocols: Develop and maintain emergency Standard Operating Procedures, training staff as necessary.

Qualifications and Experience:
Education: 3-year Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in hospitality/tourism management or a related field.
Experience: 5-7 years in high-end hospitality, with a focus on safari operations or remote locations.
Skills: Proficient in English, excellent problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities.
Tech Proficiency: Basic Google Suite knowledge, familiarity with POS & Xero systems (an advantage).

Personal Attributes:
Adaptability: Ability to understand and respect different cultures, specifically Tanzanian culture.
Leadership: Exceptional leadership skills, able to motivate and communicate effectively with staff.
Customer Focus: Passion for luxury hospitality, attention to detail, and commitment to sustainability.
