Senior Guide – Luxury Game Lodge – Hoedspruit

Kendrick Recruitment is on the lookout for an experienced Senior Guide to join a prestigious luxury game lodge in Hoedspruit. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and knowledgeable individual to lead unforgettable guest experiences in the heart of the bush.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct game drives and interpret wildlife and ecosystems for guests, ensuring a memorable experience.
• Provide exceptional guest service and enhance their overall stay at the lodge.
• Share knowledge of local flora, fauna, and conservation efforts.
• Assist in the training and development of junior guides and lodge staff.
• Ensure safety protocols are adhered to during all guest interactions and activities.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ guiding experience in a luxury game lodge or similar environment.
• NQF Level 4 or equivalent qualifications are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the local fauna and flora, as well as the surrounding ecosystem.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about conservation and providing exceptional guest experiences.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Must be physically fit and able to handle the demands of the role.

Package & Remuneration:
Salary: R16,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
