Senior Director of Operations – Hospitality Solutions Company – Port Elizabeth

Kendrick Recruitment is excited to partner with an esteemed restaurant group in the Eastern Cape to find an exceptional Senior Director of Operations. This is a high-level leadership role with the potential for growth into the Managing Director position. We are looking for a passionate and energetic individual with extensive fine dining and luxury restaurant experience, a strong business acumen, and the ability to drive the success of multiple establishments.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the operations of 5 fine dining restaurants, ensuring the highest standards of service and quality.
• Implement and enforce policies, procedures, and operational strategies across all locations.
• Lead, motivate, and mentor the restaurant managers and staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to brand standards.
• Manage budgets, optimise profitability, and drive operational efficiencies.
• Analyse financial reports, sales performance, and customer feedback to continuously improve the dining experience and bottom line.
• Oversee stock control, supply chain management, and vendor relationships to ensure quality and cost-efficiency.
• Maintain strong relationships with guests, staff, and stakeholders, fostering a positive and energetic work environment.

Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience in fine dining, luxury restaurant operations, and fine food and wine knowledge.
• Young, energetic, and highly motivated, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
• Strong leadership skills, with a track record of managing multiple high-end venues.
• Solid business knowledge, including budgeting, financial management, and strategic planning.
• Ability to thrive under pressure, make sound decisions, and drive operational excellence.
• Potential to grow into the Managing Director role.

Remuneration and Benefits

• Salary: R25,000 – R50,000 per month (based on experience).
• Accommodation: 3-bedroom home within a secure gated community.
