Kenrick Recruitment are currently seeking a dynamic Human Resource (HR) & Internal Relations Manager for a company based in Sandton, Gauteng!
As an integral part of our team, you will play a crucial role in recruitment, training, career development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, industrial relations, employment law, compliance, and other HR-related functions. This position reports directly to the Group Financial Manager and indirectly to the CEO.
Ensure consistent recruitment of exceptional staff based on departmental requirements.
Oversee and streamline the onboarding process for new hires.
Provide training, counseling, and coaching to staff members.
Resolve conflicts through positive and professional mediation.
Execute necessary administrative duties related to HR functions.
Coordinate performance and wage reviews in collaboration with Senior Management.
Update and develop clear policies, ensuring awareness among all employees.
Generate clear and concise reports for management.
Deliver helpful and engaging presentations.
Maintain and report on workplace health and safety compliance.
Foster a strong working relationship with the Company’s Labour Consultants.
Handle workplace investigations, disciplinary actions, and termination procedures with the guidance of the Company’s Labour consultants.
Safeguard employee and workplace privacy.
Oversee Employment Equity Reporting.
Manage Workmen’s Compensation Letter of Good Standing Renewal.
Handle Workmen’s Compensation claims and follow up as required.
Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or equivalent (nice to have).
Proven experience in human resources or a related field.
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.
Experience in educating and coaching staff.
Proficient in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information appropriately.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in maintaining workplace privacy.
Ability to deliver effective presentations.
Knowledge of relevant health and safety laws.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
