Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a dynamic and strategic Sales & Marketing Manager for a luxury travel company. This senior role offers flexibility in location, with in-office, hybrid, or remote options to be determined based on the successful candidate.

About the Role

This position presents an exciting opportunity to drive sales and marketing initiatives for a premier Destination Management Company (DMC) with over 20 years of experience in crafting extraordinary journeys across Southern and East Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing brand presence, strengthening industry partnerships, and expanding into key markets, particularly North America.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Brand Growth

  • Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to drive revenue and brand awareness.
  • Strengthen and expand relationships with overseas agents, with a primary focus on the North American market.
  • Represent the company at local, online, and international trade shows, ensuring effective follow-up.
  • Organise and host educational tours, promotional events, and brand collaborations.
  • Act as a liaison between international travel agents and the consultant team to ensure seamless client experiences.

Marketing & Content Creation

  • Design and produce compelling content for social media, email campaigns, newsletters, and website updates.
  • Develop storytelling and media campaigns to enhance brand visibility.
  • Maintain a strong industry presence through strategic PR, media outreach, and partnerships.

Data & Insights

  • Generate sales reports, forecasts, and demographic insights to inform decision-making.
  • Maintain memberships with key industry associations to enhance networking and credibility.
  • Manage and update the agent database.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience in a sales and marketing role within the luxury hospitality or travel sector.
  • Established industry network, particularly in the North American luxury travel market.
  • Experience in trade show representation at local, online, and international levels.
  • Strong digital marketing expertise, including social media management, email marketing, and website content creation.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with high-end clients and trade partners.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, creative, and results-driven, with a passion for luxury travel.
