Our client, a luxury safari lodge, is looking for a talented Sales Manager to join their team in Johannesburg. This is an office-based role that offers a negotiable salary of R55,000, depending on experience. π Whatβs the Role?
As the Sales Manager, you will lead and manage sales efforts for the lodge, both locally and internationally. You will be responsible for driving revenue, creating and executing sales strategies, and managing key client relationships to ensure the lodge remains a top destination in the luxury travel market.
π¨ What Are We Looking For?
OPTION 1:
Head of Sales Experience: Proven experience in a head of sales role within South Africa.
Luxury Lodge Expertise: Solid experience in sales within high-end lodges and boutique hospitality.
Sales Leadership: A strategic thinker with the ability to lead a team, inspire sales growth, and hit targets.
OPTION 2:
International Sales Expertise: Solid experience in sales within the USA market.
Frequent Travel: Must be comfortable traveling to the US up to three times per year to build relationships and expand the lodgeβs international presence.
Luxury Market Experience: A background in high-end, luxury travel and hospitality sales.
π¦ What Will You Be Doing?
Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies that target key markets and drive bookings.
Client Relations: Cultivate relationships with top travel agents, tour operators, and key clients to increase lodge bookings and brand visibility.
International Exposure: If in Option 2, youβll have the exciting opportunity to travel to the USA multiple times a year, strengthening connections in the North American market.
Team Management: Lead and inspire a sales team to achieve targets and create memorable guest experiences.
Market Research: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market shifts to keep the lodge at the forefront of the luxury travel sector.
