As a Service Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guest’s dining experience exceeds expectations. Your primary focus will be on upholding service standards, overseeing staff preparation, and contributing to a seamless and unforgettable guest experience. You will be responsible for managing service, sales, expenses, and profit goals in alignment with the beverage department’s operating plans and budgets.
Key Focus Areas:
Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional services and products.
Monitor staff and patron activities to ensure compliance with liquor regulations.
Perform beverage preparation, presentation, and sales tasks, including training staff on beverage descriptions and profit margins.
Collaborate in developing and implementing specialty drinks, enhancing guest engagement.
Foster effective communication between the Kitchen and Service team, optimizing service coordination.
Address guest complaints professionally and investigate where necessary.
Estimate consumption, schedule orders, and maintain par levels for equipment and inventory.
Analyze menu recipes, determine costs, and assign prices to menu items.
Manage POS operations effectively, utilizing reports to enhance decision-making.
Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in F&B customer service within a luxury environment.
Strong knowledge of local, regional, and international wines and beverages.
Familiarity with food, cooking methods, and stock control procedures.
Proficiency in equipment operation, hygiene, and cleaning practices.
Basic understanding of planning, budgeting, and departmental administration.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Positive team player with enthusiasm, emotional resilience, and attention to detail.
Proactive, adaptable, and flexible with a passion for creativity and innovation.
Strong leadership skills and commitment to skill development and mentorship.
