Key Responsibilities:
As the Head Chef, you’ll be the mastermind behind the kitchen, ensuring that every dish served meets and exceed the guests expectations. 🍽 Your responsibilities will include:
Planning and implementing strategic goals to drive the broader company objectives.
Ensuring staff canteens provide meals that are both nutritious and plentiful.
Creating an unforgettable dining experience for guests, in line with the lodge’s food concept.
Supervising food quality and hygiene standards to ensure impeccable service.
Designing innovative menus and implementing new food concepts.
Managing inventory and minimizing waste through strategic food management.
Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
Skills & Experience:
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
A 3-year Chef Qualification or a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role.
Strong understanding of food costs and kitchen budget management.
Proficiency in computer literacy.
Extensive food knowledge and menu design skills.
Ability to train and manage staff effectively.
Clear understanding of labor law and disciplinary procedures.
Passion for the industry and a commitment to growth.
Knowledge of hygiene protocols and safety procedures.
First Aid training (provided by the company).
Impeccable personal hygiene and grooming standards.
