Key Responsibilities:
Guest Check-in & Check-out: Ensure seamless check-in and check-out experiences, adhering to the highest standards of service and leaving a lasting positive impression.
Guest Communication: Contact guests in advance to gather important information such as dietary requirements, bed setups, and special occasions.
Daily Updates & Reporting: Maintain the day sheet, updating it with relevant food and beverage or room information. Retrieve necessary details from Opera for the next day’s preparation.
Email Management: Respond to reception-related emails and forward other department queries to the relevant Heads of Department (HODs).
Reservation Management: Review reservations, handle any issues, and ensure that all details are accurately recorded and communicated.
Courtesy Calls: Make courtesy calls to guests and complete daily checklists to ensure smooth operations.
Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other departments to ensure that guests’ needs and requests are met promptly.
Core Competencies:
Communication: Clear and effective communication skills, ensuring guests are always informed and comfortable.
Multitasking: Ability to juggle various tasks simultaneously and stay organised in a busy environment.
Organisation: High attention to detail and a knack for ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and on time.

The Benefits:
Salary: R8,000 (live-in).
Accommodation: Live-in on site.
Meals: Meal on duty or a meal allowance of R850.
Provident Fund: 7.5% company contribution.
