Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a Porter for a prestigious luxury wine estate in Constantia. This is an exciting opportunity for a personable and energetic individual who thrives in a high-end hospitality environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional guest assistance, responding to enquiries and fulfilling requests in a professional manner.
- Carry luggage for guests, ensuring a smooth and welcoming arrival and departure experience.
- Aid in guest evacuations, ensuring their safety in case of emergency.
- Support the front desk by answering calls, handling enquiries, and directing them to the relevant departments.
- Assist with the setup of events, and help update event signage as needed.
- Run errands for staff, including moving stock and delivering items around the estate.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to lift at least 25kg with ease
- Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, approachable demeanour
- Familiarity with guest booking systems and basic security procedures
- Excellent verbal communication skills for interacting with guests, staff, and external service providers
