Position: Executive Chef Location: Okavango Delta, Botswana Salary: Competitive monthly salary + Botswana expat benefits
Key Outputs:
Manage cost and ordering processes in remote locations, ensuring optimal stock levels.
Uphold food safety and hygiene standards, adhering to HACCP principles.
Plan and execute menus in alignment with luxury standards and guest dietary requirements.
Provide leadership, training, and motivation to kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment.
Maintain excellent discipline, fair treatment, and a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
Proficient in spoken and written English; basic Setswana is a plus.
Strong communication skills with guests and fellow staff members.
Exceptional organisational and lateral thinking abilities.
Initiative-driven, honest, and proactive, with a passion for creating fabulous food.
Computer literate with a good understanding of hospitality and the surrounding environment.
Previous Work Experience:
3+ years of relevant experience as an Executive Chef.
Relevant Tertiary Qualification
Service industry experience, particularly in guest and staff interactions.
Passionate about creating exceptional culinary experiences.
