Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced Night Auditor to join a stunning luxury lodge in Vaalwater. This is the perfect opportunity for a confident, organised individual with hotel experience looking to take on a vital role in the overnight operations of a prestigious establishment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Night Audit: Oversee the overnight audit process, ensuring all revenues, transactions, and accounts are accurate and up-to-date.
Guest Check-ins & Check-outs: Assist with late check-ins or check-outs, ensuring that all guest details and payments are processed correctly.
Balance Reports: Ensure the accurate balancing of all cash-ups, credit card receipts, and POS systems, and report discrepancies.
Emergency & Contingency Reports: Handle emergency reports and maintain accurate records.
Guest Communications: Ensure guest folios are correct, handle any email inquiries, and assist with wake-up calls and morning requests.
Preparation & Reports: Prepare daily reports and night audit packs for the finance team, ensuring all necessary information is ready for the following day.
Core Competencies:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within hotels.
Strong experience with Opera is required.
Excellent organisational skills and mathematically inclined.
The ability to multitask and handle a high volume of inquiries with ease.
Great communication skills and a positive attitude.
Attention to detail and time management are key!
Ability to work under pressure and during shifts and weekends.
The Perks:
Salary: R9,000 (live-in).
