Kendrick Recruitment are now seeking a Junior Management Couple for a 5* luxury establishment based on the shore of the Indian Ocean in Mozambican Archipelago. We are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic couple looking for a first step in hospitality management as couple. Working under the General Management couple and Assistant manager the couple will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of a 5* establishment. You will also be responsible for creating ultimate guest experiences and maintaining standards this is a great opportunity for growth and experience.
Duties include :-
• Guest check in/Out
• Room checks prior to check in and spot checks of villa, rooms and property daily
• Staff management
• Overseeing all departments
• Manage and Orchestrate guest activities
• Manage Boat maintenance with Activity manager
• Manage maintenance schedule with property manager
• First aid stock take of all departments
• Issuing, reviewing, and reporting to general managers on monthly inventory reports
• Attend morning meeting with all department heads
• Customer invoices
• Input supplier invoices
• Input and manage bar issue stock
• Store room controls
• Manage staff rota and record leave, sick and off days
• Prepare all departmental orders for GM authorisation
• Guest planning and guest profiling
• Monthly stock takes and inputs in preparation for GM authorisation
• Guest hosting
• Oversee breakfast, lunch and dinner service
• Guest experiences – managing turn downs, notes and special touches
The selected couple will be offered a combined salary per month. The package also includes meals and drinks, accommodation with personal bedroom and lounge with shared kitchen and dining room. Limited use of company vehicles for personal use. You will also be entitled to one flight per year to Johannesburg. You will receive 1.5 days off per week and 24 days holiday for first year and 30 days holiday for second year.
