Head Chef – Summary of Position:
The Head Chef will oversee all daily operations of the food and beverage departments and guest services, ensuring exceptional culinary experiences for guests.

Maintenance Manager – Summary of Position:
The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all routine maintenance and servicing of the property, ensuring that facilities are in optimal condition for guests’ comfort and safety.

Duties and Responsibilities for Head Chef:

Daily communication with General Management/Villa Manager regarding guest dietaries, preferences, and operations.
Menu planning and design, ensuring variety and quality in culinary offerings.
Supervision of kitchen hygiene and food preparation according to SOPs.
Management of routine maintenance and servicing of F&B equipment.
Staff management, including rostering, training, and performance management.
Actively seeking cost-saving opportunities through supplier investigation.
Compliance with health, safety, and fire regulations throughout the departments.
Guest hosting and proactive approach to improving guest experiences.

Duties and Responsibilities for Maintenance Manager:

Oversight of routine maintenance and servicing of all property facilities.
Management of company files of SOPs and implementation across departments.
Monthly and quarterly inventory stock takes.
Vegetable garden maintenance and production oversight.
Relief management duties during General Management leave.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Management of staff canteen and food orders.

Package for Couple:

Meals on duty and food and drinks budget.
Comfortable accommodation provided.
One flight per year return to Johannesburg.
Salary combined around R50,000 gross.
Work schedule: 6 days off per month, flexible shifts.
Leave: Authorised in advance by GMs in accordance with business levels, starting with 24 days for the first year and increasing to 30 days per annum thereafter.
