We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Spa Manager/Back up Spa Therapist to join our team at a luxury day spa located in Midrand. As the Spa Manager, you will be responsible for managing the spa operations and ensuring the highest level of service and guest satisfaction. In addition, you will also be required to assist with treatments as needed.
Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the spa, including scheduling, inventory management, and staff supervision
Ensure that all spa treatments are delivered to the highest standards and in accordance with the spa’s protocols
Provide exceptional customer service and create a warm and welcoming environment for spa guests
Train, motivate, and supervise spa staff to ensure a cohesive team and a positive work environment
Conduct regular staff performance evaluations and provide feedback for improvement
Assist with spa treatments when necessary to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction
Maintain accurate records of spa revenue, expenses, and inventory
Conduct stock takes and submit revenue reports in a timely manner
Utilize Excel and other software tools for administrative tasks and reporting
Stay up to date with industry trends and techniques, and suggest new treatments or services to enhance the spa’s offerings
Adhere to health and safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the spa
Requirements:
Qualified Beauty Therapist with 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Well-presented and professional demeanor
Strong timekeeping and organizational skills
Target-driven mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service
Experience with ESP software (bonus)
Proficient in stock take procedures and revenue report submission
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel for administrative tasks
Candidates must have their own transport and a valid driver’s license.

Working Hours: 9am – 6pm, Mondays – Sundays
Days Off: 8 days off per month (including 1-2 weekends off)
