As the Lead Trail Guide, you will be at the forefront of offering guests an immersive and exciting wildlife experience. Your role will include leading walking safaris, ensuring the safety of guests, and sharing your expert knowledge of the bush, animals, and conservation efforts. You’ll be working in one of the world’s most renowned wildlife destinations, making it an opportunity of a lifetime!
🐘 What We’re Looking For:
Proven Experience: Extensive experience in guiding safaris, particularly in walking trails and bushcraft.
Expert Knowledge: A deep understanding of African wildlife, ecosystems, and conservation.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with a passion for guiding and educating others.
Passion for Conservation: A commitment to promoting sustainable practices and environmental stewardship.
Exceptional Communication: The ability to convey fascinating facts about wildlife and nature in an engaging and informative way.
Physical Fitness: Comfortable working in the wild, often in challenging outdoor conditions.
First Aid & Wilderness Safety: Relevant certifications are a must for ensuring the safety of guests.
🌍 Responsibilities:
Lead walking safaris, providing guests with thrilling and informative experiences in the bush.
Ensure the safety of guests and staff at all times during guided activities.
Share your expert knowledge of local wildlife, plants, and ecosystems.
Promote conservation efforts and environmental sustainability in every guest interaction.
Collaborate with the lodge team to ensure a seamless and exceptional guest experience.
Assist in other lodge activities as needed, offering your unique insight into the surrounding environment.
