- Minimum Grade 12 qualification or equivalent NQF 4 certificate, with 6 months of formal chef’s training.
- At least 5 years’ experience as Chef De Partie in a 4*/5* environment.
- Experience in fine dining, food ordering, costing, and proficiency in MS Office are essential.
- Chef’s Diploma, HACCP certification, and familiarity with SAP are advantageous.
- Physical and mental fitness to perform job duties efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver top-quality food and engage with guests as needed.
- Ensure outlets receive food as per requirements and assist in menu planning.
- Monitor and maintain food costs within budget and manage portion sizes.
- Manage staff performance, training, motivation, and disciplinary actions.
- Maintain par stock levels, conduct daily ordering, and perform food and equipment counts.
- Foster interdepartmental communication to anticipate and ensure guest satisfaction.
