Position: Junior Guest Relations Manager
Location: Vilanculos, Mozambique
Start Date: Immediate
Preferred Candidates: Single young applicants
Salary Package:
- Salary: MZN 45,000 pm Gross
- Tax Deductions: According to Mozambican law and calculated on exchange rates
- Working Hours: Flexible shifts with 6 days off per month
- Holiday Entitlement: 12 days annual leave in the first year, 24 days in the second year, and 30 days every year thereafter (authorized in advance by GMs in accordance with business levels)
- Bonus Policy: 13th cheque given annually
- Other Benefits: Comfortable accommodation on site, daily meals at the villa while on duty
Company Structure: The successful candidate will report to the Villa Managers and the General Management couple.
The Junior Guest Relations Manager will oversee daily operations related to guest services, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Daily communications with Villa Management regarding operations and guest plans
- Guest hosting and activity management
- Assisting General Management to optimise guest experience and satisfaction while managing profitability and targets
- Retrieving guest feedback and strategising improvements with General Management
- Regular communication with the Reservations team to manage guest expectations and special requests
- Maintaining flexibility and standards across departments to tailor to guest needs
- Managing reception mailbox and communication devices used by guests
- Room checks and housekeeping management
- Assisting senior management with stock control systems and preparing orders for authorization
- Inspecting property, resolving snags, and tracking progress
- Supporting Villa Managers in daily operational functions in a hands-on approach
- Managing social media content
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and fire regulations throughout the property
