Kendrick Recruitment invites applications for the position of Safari Shop Buyer based in Johannesburg, this role is for a portfolio of lodges whereby you will be responsible for the premium shops onsite at the lodges. We are seeking a dynamic and service-driven team player to join us.
Key Responsibilities:
Buying and Procurement:
Manage stock orders, negotiate prices, and coordinate deliveries.
Assist with guest, staff shopping, and internal stock transfers.
Administration:
Resolve creditor queries, update orders, and maintain accurate information.
Place orders, review collections, and assist with stock conversions.
Guest and Staff Shopping:
Handle queries, liaise with suppliers/lodges, arrange product requests, handle invoicing, and reconcile banking.
Qualifications and Experience:
Experience in an administrative or finance role, preferably in luxury retail or hospitality.
Understanding of retail cycles, buying, and planning processes.
Familiarity with luxury retail product strategies.
Qualification in Retail or Business Administration.
Working experience in procurement administration, preferably in luxury fashion or hospitality.
Knowledge of ACCPAC & PANSTRAT is advantageous.
Driver’s license is required.

Strong numeracy, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
Problem-solving and conflict management skills.
