We are seeking an experienced and passionate International Sales Manager to drive business growth, nurture relationships, and unlock new opportunities within allocated international regions.
Role Overview: As the International Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our client’s global presence and driving revenue generation. Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining relationships with key accounts in allocated international regions, developing effective sales strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination.
Key Focus Areas:
Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key accounts within allocated international regions.
Develop and execute tailored sales strategies for each key account, leveraging various communication channels to maintain top-of-mind presence.
Stay informed about market trends, movements, challenges, and opportunities to provide insightful feedback to the sales team.
Monitor bookings per property, identifying business trends, and responding proactively.
Collaborate with International and Domestic sales managers to gather market intelligence and share valuable insights.
Maintain an updated and organized database, including account information and relevant contacts.
Coordinate and host site inspections for international agents, ensuring follow-up and increased revenue.
Manage daily reservations follow-up for international agents and handle leads effectively.
Handle group enquiry management and guest complaints in collaboration with Property and Domestic Sales Manager.
Contribute to the establishment of an annual Sales Plan, aligned with the company’s Business Plan.
Lead sales trips to international markets, preparing for trips, attending appointments, and providing post-trip follow-up.
Prepare presentations for international operators and participate in tradeshows.
Achieve Accommodation Revenue Budgets per property and manage expenditure within the budget.
Collaborate with various departments including marketing, reservations, and finance.
Attend meetings, tradeshows, and relevant gatherings to represent the company.
Qualifications and Skills:
Grade 12 qualification required; Degree/Diploma in Sales Management or similar advantageous.
Minimum of 5 years of hospitality experience, with 3 years of sales experience preferred.
Proficient in MS Office Suite.
Valid Code 08 driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Strong product and market knowledge.
Excellent attention to detail and hygiene principles.
