Job Title: International Sales Manager
Location: Johannesburg, GP
Salary: R38,000 CTC
As the International Sales Manager you will be responsible for revenue generation and sales management in the international markets. Your role will involve aggressively pursuing sales targets for the properties. You will represent at major sales and trade show events and have a detailed understanding of the marketing drivers that contribute to revenue generation. Conducting proposal presentations and follow-up activities will be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will control expenses to meet budget guidelines and work on creative sales initiatives to achieve revenue, profitability, and sales growth targets. Adhering to company policies, maintaining the corporate image, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations will be essential.
Revenue Generation and Strategic Responsibilities: Understand marketing drivers for revenue generation. Create and conduct proposal presentations and follow up until deals are closed. Control expenses to meet budget guidelines. Achieve targets for revenue, profitability, and sales growth through sales initiatives.
Sales Management and Development: Develop a detailed understanding of the travel sales network in international markets. Coordinate development of action plans to penetrate identified markets. Search for sales leads and prospects. Assist in the development and implementation of sales and marketing plans. Conduct reviews with market Sales Team members to improve performance. Provide timely feedback to the market Sales Team.
Sales/Brand Representation and Negotiation: Represent the brand at major sales and trade show events. Ensure a high level of client satisfaction through maintaining contact with key market clients.
Finance: Control expenses and achieve budget guidelines. Implement creative sales initiatives to achieve revenue and sales growth targets.
Sales and luxury tourism product experience preferred.
Exposure to world-class sales management, transformation, and digital/e-commerce practices is advantageous.
Proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets.
Extensive experience in Supplier Relationship Management.
Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics.
Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals.
