What You’ll Do:
Manage all financials: Handle everything from daily transactions to monthly and annual reporting
Balance the books: Oversee the general ledger, payroll, invoicing, and reconciliation of accounts
Financial strategy: Ensure accurate financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the lodge
Collaborate with teams: Work closely with the management team to track performance and maximize profitability
Ensure compliance: Keep up with all relevant regulations and reporting standards
Audit support: Assist in audits and provide financial insight as needed
What You’ll Need:
Proven experience as an accountant in the hospitality industry (preferably hotel or lodge experience)
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
Attention to detail – You’ll be a numbers expert with a keen eye for accuracy
Excellent understanding of accounting software (experience with Pastel or similar systems is a plus!)
A solid understanding of tax, VAT, and other financial regulations
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
A passionate and proactive approach to financial management
Great communication skills – you’ll work closely with various departments
Hospitality experience is a plus, but financial expertise is key!
