About the Role
The Wellness Center & Recreation Manager will oversee the daily operations of the lodge’s Spa, Pool, Gym, and Yoga areas, ensuring world-class service and an exceptional guest experience. You’ll manage the team, maintain the facilities, and deliver personalised therapeutic services, all while ensuring health and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Management Duties:
- Lead daily operations across all wellness and recreation areas.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate staff while fostering a cohesive team.
- Develop and implement policies to ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational standards.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and functionality of all facilities.
- Innovate and develop new guest wellness experiences.
- Monitor and maintain Wellness Center equipment.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure all equipment remains in top condition.
- Analyze guest feedback and implement improvements for satisfaction.
- Stay informed on industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.
Therapeutic Services:
- Provide a variety of treatments, including massages, facials, and body wraps.
- Customize wellness treatments based on individual guest needs.
Client Relations:
- Create a welcoming and tranquil environment for guests.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and concerns with professionalism.
Program Development:
- Design and promote wellness programs, workshops, and special events.
- Continuously innovate and introduce new treatments and services.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Proven experience in wellness or spa management, ideally in a luxury hospitality setting.
- Proficient in various wellness therapies (massages, facials, etc.).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Ability to train and mentor staff, ensuring a cohesive and professional team.
- Familiarity with inventory and budget management.
