Kendrick Recruitment are now seeking a Head Chef for a luxury 5* intimate hotel in Zanzibar. This luxury beach escape is seeking someone who is strong leader and experienced in Fine Dining. We are looking for a candidate with previous island experience (preferred), with 5* experience and understanding of the dynamics and challenges of a remote kitchen is a must for this role.
The selected candidate must be able to work well within the team and have excellent communication skills. You will also be required to have held a similar position for at least 2/3 years and be able to create elegant cuisine with creative ideas and understand and use menu rotations in the kitchen. Experience on Pastel is a must for this role. You will be required to manage 3 chefs and 4 kitchen assistants within the brigade.
