Kendrick Recruitment are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Duty Manager. The Duty Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of daily activities at the lodge, contributing to the overall guest satisfaction and maintaining high standards of service.


Guest Services:
Greet and assist guests in a courteous and professional manner.
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and effectively.
Ensure guests’ needs are met to exceed their expectations.
Operational Excellence:
Oversee day-to-day operations to guarantee the smooth running of the lodge and spa.
Coordinate with various departments to ensure cohesive teamwork.
Monitor and manage room reservations, check-ins, and check-outs.
Staff Supervision:
Supervise and support front office and other operational staff.
Provide leadership and guidance to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Conduct regular staff briefings to communicate relevant information.
Problem Resolution:
Address and resolve guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with different departments to find effective solutions to challenges.
Maintain a positive and solutions-oriented approach in all situations.
Emergency Response:
Act as the point of contact in case of emergencies and coordinate appropriate responses.
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and emergency procedures.
Financial Accountability:
Assist in managing budgets and expenses within established guidelines.
Monitor and control costs to optimize financial performance.

Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team collaboration.
Proficient in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
