Kendrick Recruitment is working with a popular wine farm located just outside Franschhoek. We are now seeking a detail-oriented and visually inclined Senior Chef who specialises in vegetarian dishes, fresh vegetables, and fruit. If you have a passion for creating visually stunning and delicious dishes, this role is perfect for you!


An applicable qualification as a chef will be advantageous.
A minimum of two years’ experience in a management position in a kitchen.
Knowledge of taste and flavor combinations to create innovative and delicious dishes.
Skilled in visual presentation with an impeccable eye for detail.
Up-to-date with global food trends to bring creativity to the table.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team.
Fluency in both Afrikaans and English.

Mentoring, developing, and managing kitchen staff to prepare new and original dishes daily using fresh produce from our gardens.
Efficient stock management, price calculation, and purchasing to ensure the availability of ingredients.
Optimising kitchen processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Maintaining safety standards and ensuring adherence to hygiene regulations.
