Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager for a beautiful Wine Estate based in Franschhoek. We are looking for someone who is passionate about maintenance, planning and organizing to become part of the team!
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree / BTech diploma in facility management or similar field or similar work experience.
Grade 12 certificate
Minimum 2 years’ experience in maintenance
Fluent in Afrikaans and English
Computer literate (Office, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Must have relevant Planned Maintenance Training
Experience in the hospitality sector will be an advantage
Strong communication skills
Ability to multi-task
Organizational and time management skills
A valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
Act as liaison between operations and maintenance
To improve workforce productivity and work quality
Eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of labour, parts, material and equipment access.
Responsible for maintenance of records and files essential to meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance related matters
Job knowledge for what needs to be done, required labour hours etc
Coordinate equipment downtime
Responsible for ongoing planned and yearly shut down maintenance.
Assist with development of annual overhaul/shutdown schedules
Assist with all administrative related tasks
Maintain workshop (receiving and dispatch of stock to site)
