About the Role:
As the Financial Accountant / Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy, and contributing to the financial health of the organisation. Your expertise will support decision-making and help drive the luxury group’s continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and reconcile financial records, including accounts payable and receivable
Prepare and process financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
Assist with month-end and year-end closings
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
Collaborate with the finance team to improve processes and reporting
Provide financial insights and support to management as needed
What We’re Looking For:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably within the luxury or hospitality sector
Relevant qualifications (e.g., B.Com, Accounting diploma)
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Salary:
Competitive salary of R30,000 per month.
