Kendrick Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Field Guide to join a prestigious Luxury Safari Lodge situated in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to an exceptional guest experience while showcasing your expertise in wildlife and safari operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide guests on foot and by vehicle, delivering memorable safari experiences that highlight the region’s wildlife and natural beauty.
• Support Safari Management in overseeing departmental operations, ensuring adherence to safety standards and fostering positive guest and staff relations.
• Conduct informative game drives, interpretive bush walks, and engaging lectures on ecological topics to enhance guest knowledge and appreciation.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies and incidents, including medical emergencies, fire, and evacuation procedures.
• Contribute engaging content to the lodge’s social media platforms, promoting local wildlife and the lodge experience.

Requirements:

• FGASA Nature Site Guide NQF4 and Trails Guide qualification.
• ARH and Rifle Proficiency, First Aid Level 1, Driver’s License and Pr-DP.
• Previous experience as a Field Guide at a Luxury Safari Lodge is essential.
• Strong familiarity with FGASA standards and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a guest-centric approach.
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude, emotional resilience, and strong time management skills.
• Proactive, adaptable, and dedicated to maintaining high standards of service excellence.
