A prestigious Luxury Lodge in the Kruger National Park is seeking a dedicated Field Guide to join their team. As part of a renowned hospitality company, the Field Guide will lead guests on immersive safari experiences while maintaining exceptional service and safety standards.

Job Description:

The Field Guide will be responsible for guiding guests on foot and by vehicle through the African wilderness, ensuring a memorable safari adventure. Additionally, they will support Safari Management in operational tasks and mentorship of fellow guides.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct guided game drives and interpretive bush walks adhering to FGASA and MORE Guiding standards.
• Host informative lectures and ensure guest safety and comfort during all safari activities.
• Maintain strong guest relations, oversee vehicle and equipment upkeep, and assist in lodge emergency procedures.
• Contribute to lodge social media initiatives to enhance wildlife knowledge and promote the lodge experience.

Requirements:

• FGASA Nature Site Guide NQF4 and Trails Guide qualification
• ARH and Rifle Proficiency, First Aid Level 1, Driver’s License and Pr-DP.
• Previous experience as a Field Guide at a Luxury Safari Lodge
• Familiarity with lodge procedures and commitment to guest satisfaction and the MORE brand.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.
