What You’ll Be Doing:
Guiding Guests on Game Drives: Share your expertise with guests and deliver exceptional safari experiences, showcasing your knowledge of the Big 5 and other wildlife.
Daily Activities: Conducting nature walks, offering insights into flora, fauna, and the eco-system.
Educating Guests: Providing in-depth information about wildlife conservation, biodiversity, and sustainable tourism practices.
Safety & Responsibility: Ensuring the safety and well-being of guests on all guided activities while delivering a memorable experience.
Operational Duties: Assisting with lodge activities and maintaining a high standard of professionalism in all aspects of lodge operations.
Skills & Experience You’ll Need:
NQF2 Field Guide qualification (essential).
Must hold all relevant guiding requirements, including PDP, First Aid, DEAT, and NDT registration.
Previous experience as a field guide in a Big 5 environment.
A deep understanding of African wildlife, conservation practices, and environmental sustainability.
Strong communication skills and a passion for educating guests.
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
