Are you a dynamic couple with a passion for the wild and a knack for hospitality? Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Field Guide and Assistant Lodge Manager couple to join a prestigious 5-star safari lodge set in the stunning landscapes of a National Park in the Eastern Cape.

About the Roles:

Field Guide:

As a Field Guide, you’ll be the heart of the safari experience, leading guests on incredible journeys through the African bush. You’ll play a vital role in educating guests about the diverse flora and fauna, creating memorable and safe wildlife encounters. This role offers you the chance to work in a luxurious setting while receiving top-notch training and professional development opportunities.

Assistant Lodge Manager:

The Assistant Lodge Manager will support the Lodge Manager in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the lodge. From overseeing guest services and ensuring the highest standards of hospitality, to managing staff and assisting in administrative duties, this role requires a blend of leadership, organisation, and a warm, welcoming approach.

Requirements:

Field Guide:

• FGASA Level 1 (NQF Level 2) certification
• Back-Up Trails qualification
• Current FGASA membership (paid up)
• Experience in a 5-star lodge (preferred)
• Valid driver’s licence
• Valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit)
• First Aid certification
• Proficiency in Rifle Handling

Assistant Lodge Manager:

• Previous experience in hospitality or lodge management
• Strong organisational and leadership skills
• Ability to handle guest relations with grace and professionalism
• Experience in staff management and administrative tasks
• A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
