Position: Duty Manager / Assistant Lodge Manager
Salary Range: R12,000 – R14,000 per month | Live-in accommodation
Start Date: Immediate

Role Description:
The lodge is looking for a motivated and experienced Duty Manager / Assistant Lodge Manager with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a 4-5 star lodge environment in a similar position. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in all aspects of lodge operations, ensuring seamless guest experiences and maintaining high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing daily lodge operations, including guest services, housekeeping, and food and beverage service.
• Supporting the Lodge Manager in administrative tasks, staff management, and guest relations.
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Training and mentoring lodge staff to uphold excellence in service delivery.
• Assisting with reservations and front desk operations as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Duty Manager or Assistant Lodge Manager role within a 4-5 star lodge setting.
• Proven ability to manage staff effectively and maintain a positive working environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Passion for hospitality and dedication to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
