Kendrick Recruitment is now searching for a skilled & experienced Maintenance Manager for an upmarket, 5* Hotel & Resort, situated in Dullstroom, Mpumalanga.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the effective and efficient maintenance of all hotel facilities, buildings, and equipment
Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan
Conduct regular inspections of all hotel facilities, identifying and addressing any maintenance issues
Oversee and manage a team of maintenance staff, including scheduling and assigning tasks
Manage the maintenance budget and ensure cost-effective maintenance solutions
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards
Liaise with other departments to ensure minimal disruption to guest experiences during maintenance activities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records and reports
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance manager or similar role within a luxury (4* or 5*) Hotel.
Relevantly qualified
Strong leadership and management skills with experience managing a team
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong technical knowledge of maintenance systems and procedures
Understanding of health and safety regulations and standards
Experience with project management and budget management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Fully computer literate
A valid driver’s license
Excellent track record with contactable references
R 18,000 – R27,000 per month (DOE & accommodation requirements). Single accommodation can be provided, but Living out is also an option.
