📊 Cost Controller – Luxury Wine Estate | Paarl
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Controller to join a prestigious wine estate in the heart of Paarl. This role is ideal for a financially savvy professional who thrives in a fast-paced FMCG or production environment.
📍 Location: Paarl, Western Cape
💰 Salary: R15,000 per month
🔍 Key Responsibilities:
✅ Manage product costing and maintain accurate inventory reports
✅ Analyse variances between actual costs and estimates, providing key insights
✅ Prepare cost estimates and quotes for new products, customers, and changes
✅ Maintain and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) as required
✅ Conduct and assist with stock counts and reconciliations
✅ Load cost estimates into relevant systems
✅ Keep precise records of product costings (new and historical)
✅ Provide audit-related financial information
🎯 Minimum Requirements:
✔ 2-3 years’ experience in cost and management accounting (including analysis & reporting)
✔ BCom degree or equivalent (CIMA qualification or progress towards it is advantageous)
✔ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills & experience with ERP systems & BOMs
✔ Familiarity with business intelligence software is a plus
✔ Experience in an FMCG or production environment preferred
✔ Strong communication & collaboration skills across multiple teams
✔ Excellent time management & accuracy in financial reporting
✔ Fluent in Afrikaans & English
