Our esteemed client, seeks a professional who is passionate about creating exquisite dishes while adhering to the chef’s recipes and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stock Management: Diligently oversee stocks in your area of responsibility to maintain a well-functioning kitchen.
  • Hygiene and Safety: Uphold the highest standards of health, hygiene, and safety in the culinary workspace.
  • Quality Control: Exercise precision in controlling the quality, quantity, and cost of all dishes prepared within your domain.
  • Ingredient Management: Collaborate closely with the Sous chef to maintain ingredient orders, par stock levels, and proper food deliveries according to SOP’s.
  • Food Handling: Ensure proper handling and storage of food in full compliance with HACCP requirements.
  • Mise-en-Place: Consistently prepare mise-en-place on time to ensure an efficient workflow.
  • Plating Perfection: Present dishes with precision, ensuring correct garnishes, portions, and prescribed presentation.
  • Creative Input: Collaborate with the Executive or Sous chef to introduce new presentations or dishes.
  • Optimized Cooking: Strive to optimize the cooking process, focusing on both speed and quality.
  • Team Spirit: Foster a culture of smooth and friendly cooperation within the kitchen team, creating a harmonious culinary environment.

Requirements:

  • Chef Qualifications: Possess a Chef Certificate/Diploma to showcase your culinary expertise.
  • Transport: Have your own reliable transport with a valid driver’s license, ensuring you arrive on time for your culinary adventures.
  • Experience: Bring 2-3 years of previous experience as a Chef De Partie, demonstrating your culinary prowess.
  • Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with your team and colleagues.
  • Team Player: Embrace your role as a team player, contributing to the collaborative spirit of the kitchen.
  • Professionalism: Maintain a professional working relationship with all departments, demonstrating cultural and religious sensitivity.
