About the Role
Starting ASAP, this live-in role places you at the heart of a luxury kitchen, where you’ll work alongside the Executive and Sous Chefs to create unforgettable dining experiences. With a focus on quality, passion, and teamwork, this is your chance to make an impact in a dynamic environment.
The Perks
– **Salary**: R7,000 – R8,000 per month, based on experience 💸
– **Live-in Role** 🛏️: meals included
– **Time Off**: 6 days off per month and 21 annual leave days 🌴
What We’re Looking For
– **Experience**: 3-4 years in a 4/5-star environment (essential) 🌟
– **Skills**: Proficient in both Pastry and Hot sections 🍰🔥
– **Qualifications**: Food Hygiene or culinary qualifications are a bonus 🏅
– **Knowledge**: Familiarity with dietary needs, stock control, and food safety
– **Attributes**: Passionate, guest-focused, flexible, and self-motivated
Daily Responsibilities
– Collaborate with the Executive and Sous Chefs on daily preparations, ensuring every dish meets top standards.
– Maintain efficiency and high quality in all tasks.
– Contribute to stock control and month-end procedures.
