Kendrick Recruitment is serving up a sizzling opportunity at a high-end boutique hotel in George! Weβre on the hunt for a passionate Chef de Partie and Demi Chef de Partie to join a fast-paced kitchen that thrives on excellence, creativity, and five-star flair.
π½ WHATβS ON THE MENU?
Weβre looking for culinary artists with a serious love for food, a sharp eye for detail, and a cool head in the heat of the kitchen. Youβll need to bring your A-game when it comes to presentation, flavor, and teamworkβand be ready to wow even the most discerning guests.
π‘ RECIPE FOR SUCCESS:
Grade 12 (or equivalent)
Minimum 6 months formal culinary training
At least 3 years’ experience as a Demi Chef in a 4*/5* environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Computer literacy in MS Office, SAP is a plus
Physically and mentally fit, ready to keep pace with a high-energy kitchen
Must live in George or surrounds and have reliable transport
π¨βπ³ YOUR DAILY INGREDIENTS:
Prepare and present food at 5-star standards
Cater to guest dietary needs and preferences
Support the Sous Chef with menu planning, trend spotting, and more
Stock control, rotation, costing, and stock-taking
Lead, train, and motivate junior kitchen staff
Maintain pristine kitchen hygiene and food safety standards
Uphold health & safety policies, including waste and pest control
