Role Overview:
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sales Executive who thrives in the fast-paced world of hospitality and sales. This role is ideal for someone with a talent for building and maintaining lasting relationships within the corporate and travel sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding the company’s presence across all revenue-generating outlets.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement: Establish and nurture relationships with key players in the travel trade and corporate sectors to drive proactive sales efforts.
Sales Strategy Execution: Collaborate with the Head of Business Development and Revenue Management teams to implement strategic sales plans aligned with the company’s financial objectives.
Market Expansion: Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities across various revenue streams, actively promoting the company’s offerings to a broader audience.
Event Representation: Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and site inspections, showcasing its spaces and services to potential clients.
Customer Service Excellence: Deliver top-tier customer service, ensuring quick, efficient responses to all business leads and maintaining strong client relationships.
Operational Support: Assist in generating corporate proposals, managing rate negotiations, and ensuring all operational aspects of booked business are executed smoothly.
Team Collaboration: Participate in departmental meetings, contributing to discussions on product development, sales targets, and budget allocations.
Qualifications & Experience:
Proven experience in sales within the hospitality industry, with a focus on corporate and travel agent sectors.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organisational abilities and a talent for multitasking in a dynamic environment.
Proficiency in G-Suite, Asana, Slack, MS Office, and other relevant software.
Must be Cape Town-based, with own transport and phone.
