Kendrick Recruitment is working with a renowned safari company offering luxury travel to East Africa. With Head Offices based in Cape Town we are seeking a passionate and highly organized individual to join the team as an Agent Sales Service Coordinator.
Position Overview:
As an Agent Sales Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for handling the administrative aspects of agent sales with the client and 3rd party suppliers throughout the booking process. You will work closely with Agent Sales Consultants, requiring excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle the administrative tasks related to agent sales, including booking management, documentation, and communication with agents and suppliers.
Collaborate with Agent Sales Consultants to ensure seamless coordination of bookings and provide excellent service to agents.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of bookings, including reservation details, payments, and any changes or cancellations.
Assist with resolving any issues or concerns raised by agents or suppliers, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolution.
Prepare and distribute booking confirmations, invoices, and other relevant documentation to agents and suppliers.
Coordinate with internal departments, such as operations and finance, to ensure smooth execution of bookings.
Stay updated on product knowledge and provide accurate information and recommendations to agents.
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience in a similar administrative or coordination role is preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong command of English.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficient in using computer systems and software, including MS Office Suite.
Strong customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with agents and suppliers.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues from different departments.
Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Knowledge of the travel and tourism industry is a plus.
